Legal basis and purpose of the processing of personal data

Personal data is processed for MPV-Infrarakenne Oy’s customer communication and other customer relationship management, marketing, management, development, analysis, service provision and personalisation, and business development and planning. Personal data is processed within the limits permitted and required by the Personal Data Act. Through the collection and processing of personal data, we may also send you targeted marketing and customer communications. However, if you do not wish to receive communications from us, you can notify MPV-Infrarakenne Oy at any time.

Data content of the register

The data stored in the register includes: the name of the person and/or company, contact information (telephone number and e-mail address), information on ordered services and changes thereto, billing information, other information related to the customer relationship and ordered services.

Regular data sources

The information stored in the register is obtained from the customer through, for example, messages sent via web forms, e-mail, telephone, social media services, contracts, customer meetings and other situations where the customer provides his/her data.

Regular disclosures and transfers of data outside the EU or EEA

Because we want to enable and provide you with the best possible service experience, we may need to disclose your data to our partners in order to provide the service. In order to enable the delivery of orders, MPV-Infrarakenne Oy may, if necessary, disclose the following information about the customer to the necessary parties. MPV-Infrarakenne Oy may also disclose data outside the EU or EEA within the limits permitted by applicable legislation, for example for the purposes of technical maintenance and processing of data by partners.

Principles for the protection of the register

The register is processed with due care and the data processed by the information systems are adequately protected. Where the data are stored on Internet servers, the physical and digital security of their hardware is adequately ensured. The controller shall ensure that stored data, as well as access rights to servers and other information critical to the security of personal data, are treated confidentially and only by employees whose job description includes this.

Right of access and rectification

Any person in the register has the right to check the data recorded in the register and to request that any inaccurate or incomplete data be corrected or completed. If a person wishes to check or request the correction of data stored about him or her, the request must be sent in writing to the controller. The controller may, if necessary, ask the applicant to prove his or her identity. The controller will reply to the customer within the time limit laid down in the EU General Data Protection Regulation (as a general rule, within one month).

A person in the register has the right to request the erasure of personal data concerning him or her from the register (“right to be forgotten”). Data subjects also have other rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, such as the restriction of processing of personal data in certain circumstances. Requests should be sent in writing to the controller. The controller may, if necessary, ask the applicant to prove his or her identity. The controller will reply to the customer within the time limit laid down in the EU General Data Protection Regulation (as a general rule, within one month).
